Inter Miami midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi (30) celebrates after he scores the game winner on penalty kicks during the second half against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium

The match was then settled in penalties after an unforgettable 4-4 draw and Cremaschi’s penalty kick was the clincher to sent Inter Miami into the quarterfinals. The midfielder spoke to the broadcasters after the match.

He talked about what it was like walking from the midfield to the penalty spot: "I was quite nervous, but since they told me I was going to take the fifth penalty that I was going to go down to the right, and I was given it and luckily I scored the goal," Cremaschi said.

“I am very happy with how the match ended and for having been able to make the difference when I came on. It's a nice feeling that now I can't wait to go to the locker room and party a little more with them."

He also highlighted what it was like watching Messi for the first two-thirds of the match from the bench: “On the bench I saw him calm, trying to see the spaces. And later when I entered, Tata told me to make a difference”.

At the end, he spoke about how the team felt looking ahead to the rest of the tournament: “We are going a long way, we have to go quite far and we don't want to stop. We already know what it is to win and we don't want to lose. We were able to make the comeback to be champions”.
